Bulk carrier smashes into a smaller ship in Singapore

    it shouldnt happen but occassionally it does. Singapore is crowded with vessels either loading, discharging or refueling so if its gonna happen anywhere then the Lion State is where its gonna happen.

  3. Being in Singapore, I know all too well how congested the straits is. Google 'Singapore beach' to have an appreciation on the horizon that is constantly peppered with ships.

    I read that massive ships like the above bulk carrier takes kilometres just to stop or change course. Perhaps even longer if it is laden with cargoes.
